Sascha Lino Lemke

Sascha Lino Lemke: born in Hamburg in 1976. Studies in music theory, composition and computer music as well as a graduate music teacher at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, the EULEC Lüneburg and the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP); composition and computer music course at the Institut de recherche et coordination acoustique/musique (IRCAM) in Paris. Lecturer for music theory, ear training, analysis and multimedia at the universities in Hamburg and Lübeck. Artistic director of the electronic studio at the University of Music Lübeck.

Numerous scholarships and awards: Scholarship of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, Kranichsteiner Scholarship Prize of the Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Bach Prize Scholarship of the City of Hamburg, Dresdner MusikStipendium, Saarbrücker Komponistenwerkstatt, 1st prize of the European Live-Electronic Competition of the ECPNM, scholarship of the Bundeskulturstiftung or the Academia tedesca/Villa Massimo for the Casa Baldi in Italy, Hindemith Prize 2010. Commissioned works/performances a.o.. at musica viva (Munich), Munich Biennale for Contemporary Music Theatre, Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Klangwerktage (Hamburg), IRCAM (Paris), ICMC (International Computer Music Conference), Festival musica (Strasbourg), Forum der Künste Hellerau, ZKM Karlsruhe, Gaudeamus Music Week (Amsterdam), Musica viva festival (Lisbon), Automn Festival (Talinn), Norddeutscher Rundfunk, Seoul International Computer Music Festival (SICMF), the Shanghai Spring Festival and in the USA. In 2013 he became a member of the Freie Akademie der Künste Hamburg.

Since 2016 professor of music theory at the Musikhochschule Lübeck.
